| Pop-punk heroes Bowling For Soup will play The Mandela Hall on Wednesday the October 17th 2012. The 14+ show will be the band's first in Belfast since their sold-out gig in the Spring & Airbrake back in 2010.
Having formed in Texas back in 1994, the quartet shot to prominence after the single 'Girl All The Bad Guys Want' reached #8 in the U.K singles chart.
The song, and its accompanying video, became a huge hit with fans and saw the band nominated for a Grammy award in 2003.
The following album A Hangover You Don't Deserve, containing the singles '1985' and 'Almost', proved the band's most popular to date and was declared gold in the United States. Last year the band released their 11th studio album Fishin' For Woos, with Rock Sound magazine declaring "Bowling For Soup are back, doing what BFS do best – upbeat, uplifting, foot-tapping songs"
Bowling For Soup play the Mandela Hall on Wednesday the 17th of October 2012. Tickets, priced £18, go on sale at Queens Students Union, Ticketmaster outlets and Shine.net from Friday the 8th of June.
